Why did you create this book?
Because there are stories and adventures we wanted to tell with our gaming groups, which were impossible to tell with the standard rules. We wanted to weave yarns of exploration, or survival against the odds, of conquering a vast subterranean frontier. We wanted epic fights while swinging on ropes dangling from a vast chasm. In short: We created the tools to tell brand-new epic sagas.

I play a different game system. How difficult is this book to convert to my system of choice?
Easier than pretty much any other 5E supplement we are aware of! The book was designed with an eye towards the future and other supplements, so if you know what a proficiency bonus is and what advantage and disadvantage are, you’re good to go! How do I use this book in my D&D 5E games?
Modularity was a very important design goal in this book, so everything is subservient to your personal needs. You can choose and use what parts of the book you’ll use whenever you want!
As an example: Do you want to try out the momentum-engine and run a chase? Well, there is a simple version of the rules, and a slightly more complex take on the engine to choose from. The very same engine could be used to depict long-term chases, such as an exodus of a people to new lands.
If your party’s martial characters want more combat options at lower levels, you can take a look at momentum-based maneuvers. If you want to make the process of spellcasting more dynamic (or run a mage duel!), you can take a look at the momentum-powered segmented spellcasting. If you don’t want to use either the maneuvers or the segmented spellcasting, but use the other, no problem! Everything works just as well!
The hazard generator is another great example: It comes with a ton of options that can be mixed and matched or altered further—all according to the needs of your individual gaming group!

Why is shipping & handling so expensive outside the USA?
Despite many Kickstarters having “Your country friendly” S&H, we’ve done our research, talked with our worldwide distributors, other publishers and many game companies, only to conclude that regardless of HOW a project is fulfilled, these are the costs involved in order to ship to these regions. We even inquired with our printer about doing a “split order” and shipping half the books to a fulfillment house in Europe but the cost for this was astronomical and when incorporated into the S&H costs, came out roughly the same as just shipping from the USA where we are in control of and can track every package with our software. We will continue to search for other avenues to distribute our books overseas and apologize about the expensive S&H costs, we wish it weren’t so.

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
